DESCRIPTION:
A one-day course designed to give managers and supervisors a better understanding of their responsibilities under
current Fire Safety Legislation.
AIM:
To give guidance in Fire Risk Reduction through management control and training and to raise awareness of the
manager’s responsibility.
OBJECTIVES:
On completion of the course, delegates will be able to:
- Recognise their responsibilities under the relevant fire safety legislation.
- Understand the importance of suitably trained staff in the workplace.
- Develop a sensible Fire Safety policy to protect both life and property.
- Identify individuals requiring Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPS).
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
For persons with a management role and those complying with Fire Safety Legislation requirements.
REQUIREMENT:
Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
DURATION:
One day (1000hrs – 1600hrs).
Lunch provided.
