DESCRIPTION:
A one-day course looking at the background methods and protocols covering fire risk assessment in the workplace.
Fire risk assessment is a statutory responsibility for the vast majority of workplaces and this course includes a
practical fire risk assessment exercise.
AIM:
The course is aimed at staff specifically tasked with responsibility for fire safety within their workplace and will
provide students with the necessary understanding of fire safety principles and procedures.
OBJECTIVES:
On completion of the course, delegates will be able to:
- Understand the necessity for carrying out a workplace Fire Risk Assessment.
- Undertake and develop a basic Fire Risk Assessment.
- Continuously review the company compliance and act as an informed liaison point with Local Authority Fire Safety Officers.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Any person within the workplace who has a specific responsibility for managing Workplace Fire Safety.
REQUIREMENT:
Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
DURATION:
One day (1000hrs – 1600hrs).
