DESCRIPTION:
This half day course is suitable for every type of workplace, including offices, educational establishments, residential care locations, hotels and boarding houses. The course may be of particular interest to employers requiring basic fire awareness training for a larger number of staff.

AIM:
To provide an awareness of the dangers of fire and smoke.

OBJECTIVES:
On completion of the course, delegates will be able to:

• Identify the six classifications of fire..
• Recognise the importance of effective fire evacuation procedures.
• Understand what is expected of them when the fire alarm is activated.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Any person within the workplace that requires a general level of fire awareness that is higher than company induction training.

REQUIREMENT:
Staff recognised by a written Fire Risk Assessment.

DURATION:
Half day (1000hrs - 1300hrs) or customer’s requirements.

MAXIMUM NUMBER PER COURSE:
Negotiable depending on venue and cost.
